MK Ultra Montreal Experiments - The Victims

    The Victims
This episode gives a voice to the victims. It also includes audio clips from some of the survivors themselves.
Dr. Ewen Cameron played a central role in unethical medical experiments, and development of psychological and medical torture techniques for the CIA.
He conducted these experiments on his unknowing patients at Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal, Canada.
These horrendous experiments caused a lifetime of trauma and suffering on his victims.
These experiments were funded by the CIA and the Canadian Government.

Bonus Episode - Unit 731 - Part One

    Unit 731 - Part One
At least 3,000 people, not just Chinese but also Russians, Mongolians and Koreans, died from the experiments performed by Unit 731 between 1939 and 1945.
No prisoner came out alive of the Unit’s gates.
During the war, the Japanese Imperial Army used biological weapons developed and manufactured by Unit 731’s laboratory in Harbin throughout China, killing or injuring an estimated 300,000 people.
In Unit 731, live subjects were induced with frostbite until their limbs froze off, injected with fatal diseases and then had live operations performed on them without anesthesia, forced at gunpoint to be raped by syphilis-infected men, shot with bullets or stuck with bayonets or scorched with flamethrowers while tied to stakes, placed in centrifuges and spun to death, shoved inside pressure chambers until their eyes popped out, crushed with heavy objects, and buried alive.

Fun and addictive

I was introduced to Karen when she appeared on an episode of Murder Was The Case. I found STAT! and started listening from the beginning. I preserved through Karen’s learning period (it was always interesting!). Now I am enjoying this constantly improving podcast with natural conversations, interesting topics, and lots of comic relief to pull you out of the horror stories.
Thanks to Karen, Erica, Lorraine, & of course Mary who brings calm and dignity to the cast when the three musketeers get raunchy.

Theme Music

I started listening a couple of months ago and have been enjoying the content of this podcast until the new intro rap music. There is something about rap music that makes me angry so I will no longer be listening. Even the few seconds that it takes for my to fast forward is to much for me. Sorry to have to leave.

Wanna Pee Your Pants From Laughter Listening A True Crime Podcast?

Karen, Erica and Mary,

I stumbled across your podcast a little while ago while looking to add something medical related into my True Crime rotation. After listening to my first episode I was hooked. As a veteran Lifeguard, the stories you share definitely remind me of some of my past experiences. Lots of variety with the different mini series, so if your not a fan of one episode you will definitely find something to your liking. The balance between comedy and medicalness is absolutely perfect! This podcast definitely can hit the funny bone at times, I find myself laughing almost every episode! (Sometimes not the most practical while I’m working on my Masters homework)

If the comedy, banter, and true crime medical stories don’t interest you in this podcast, definitely take the chance and listen to these Canadian ladies. After all, who doesn’t love a Canadian, eh?
